The Need

Tecnotion needed to present its products but could not use photographs due to an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement), a confidentiality agreement that prevents the sharing of sensitive content. In these cases, real photos cannot be published because they would reveal construction details or proprietary solutions. A visual alternative was therefore required—one that complied with these constraints.

The Solution

We created detailed, custom technical illustrations. This approach allows only the relevant information to be shown, avoiding the disclosure of confidential details. Illustrations are also easy to adapt for different uses, including product datasheets, presentations, and sales materials.

The goal is to provide accurate, easy-to-read representations that showcase the product’s technical features with a level of detail equal to – or, in some cases, greater than – that of photography. Illustrations also help communicate complex aspects more clearly, making them easier to understand for both technical and commercial audiences. Unlike photography, illustrations can be fully integrated into the company’s graphic style and become part of the brand’s visual system, resulting in more consistent, recognizable communication.
